Ranko: The word “hakuma” (白魔) has nothing to do with White Mages (白魔道士), it means “heavy snow that brings disaster like a rampaging white monster”.
It’s an arrangement of Gensou no White Traveler~ I wrote the lyrics.
In Hidden Star in Four Seasons, the seasons start in summer and suddenly turn into autumn, spring, and winter, don’t they? The sudden change from spring to winter, I thought it was like the beginning of Kawabata Yasunari’s Snow Country! I could hear a blizzard in the tune, and I could imagine a snowy landscape where you can’t even see one step ahead ヽ(‘ ∇‘ )ノ so I wrote the song like that.

In the night, shining white at the bottom, there’s someone’s falsehood
There are so many endless worries
Settlement and deliverance are far away
Maitreya has not come yet

I’m alone, the wind is cold, the snow demon attacked me and made me dance
I oppose with my foolish fighting spirit, there is no such thing as original sin

Behind you, it’s just like yourself

Trifling things flake off and peel off
The wisdom of the latter days repeats itself again, the wheel track of incompleteness
I just step on it and make the white darker
I’ll stay there forever
Until I can create shadows

I’m standing still in the raging storm
Ringing in my ear, dominated by nothingness. Still, I step out
