Lyrics

hikaru shinju hitotsubu kin no ito ni tooshite
yokaze no utau koe ni mimi katamukeru
nemuri ni kakureta watashi no kokoro
tooi sekai de asonde iru

tamashii no kanaderu neiro wa

wareta sango hitotsubu gin no nuno ni kurunde
inaho no yureru oto ni mimi katamukeru
mezame ni kakureta watashi no kokoro
higashi no kuni de umareta yume

hodoketa ribon wo musundara
ano ko no egao usureteku

tamashii no yurameku ginga wa

Translation

I thread each shining pearl through a golden thread
I turn my ear to the singing voice of the night wind
My heart, hidden in sleep
Is playing in a distant world

The tones that my soul plays
Are beautiful because they will soon fade
Tomorrow, I’ll return the tears I’ve shed to the sky

I wrap each broken coral in a silver cloth
I turn my ear to the sound of the rice ears swaying
My heart, hidden in the waking
Is in a dream born in the eastern country

If I tie up the untied ribbon
Her smile will fade away

The twinkling galaxy of my soul
Is beautiful because it’s so far away
At dawn, I’m sure I’ll be able to laugh at the pain I’ve lost

Tomorrow, I’ll return the tears I’ve shed to the sky
