Lyrics

kagerou ga yura yurari ureu sora ni tadayou
rojiura no nezumi ni mo keshi no tane wo kuwase nigashita

boyaketa shikai no sumi ni warau douke no mure
makeinu nante darashinai

odoru raito ni terasarenai michi wo
shinu made ikite yuku dake
omote to ura kamihitoe hito no yo wa
“ari” mo “nashi” mo hitotsu no mono

gaigo de wa kikoenai kurete yareru itami mo nakute

kuranda ishiki no sumi ni utsuru kimi no sugata
kamisama nante iyashinai

wameki hakidasu aka wo makichirashite
doromizu kawari ni susuru
temaneki suredo mahou wa todokanai
nukedasenai sueta makutsu

dakedo odoru raito ni terasarenai michi wo
shinu made ikite yuku dake
omote to ura kamihitoe hito no yo wa
“ari” mo “nashi” mo hitotsu no mono
waratte naite shinde yaru

Translation

Translated by Anonymous Karakasa

The heat haze shimmers, wafting into the dull sky.
Even rats were fed opium poppy seeds in some back alley and set free.

A mob of clowns smiled in a corner of my blurry field of vision.
A loser, huh? How sloppy.

We’re dancing on a road where no light shines.
We’re simply living until we die.
Obverse and reverse, the difference is paper-thin. In the human world,
“To be” and “Not to be” are one and the same.

That girl has some sort of damage. My pity is clouded in smoke.
It’s not known to other languages and it’s no pain you can give away.

Your figure is projected in a corner of my dizzy consciousness.
God, huh? No way he exists.

I wail, vomiting dirt and scattering it everywhere.
I slurp muddy water as a substitute for it.
They’re beckoning me in, but their magic won’t reach me.
I cannot slip out of this foul demon’s lair.

However, we’re dancing on a road where no light shines.
We’re simply living until we die.
Obverse and reverse, the difference is paper-thin. In the human world,
“To be” and “Not to be” are one and the same.
We laugh, we cry, we perish.
