Ranko: Magus Night is the original theme, so the lyrics are about Cirno and Marisa.
When I wrote the lyrics for “Revoleader Align”, which has the same original theme, I depicted the seriousness in the middle of the battle, so I wanted to write it in a different shape this time.
After Fairy Wars, Marisa and Cirno played danmaku many times under the night cherry blossom, but Marisa is human, so she will eventually become old and lose to Cirno one day.
Among the fairies and youkai who hold Marisa’s hand at her sickbed, Cirno becomes one she recognizes as a strong enemy, and that’s the song. No matter how many times I reflect upon them, there are dreams in stories about the lifespan of different species.

* the word 強敵 in the final stanza is usually pronounced as “kyouteki” and means “powerful enemy”, but Ranko sings “tomo” (friend).
