A pairing-themed album (similar to the vocal album released at the same time) where each track is an arrangement of two Touhou themes.

Paprika (from Nekokenban Best): This album has many arrangements I personally like. I wanted to include many songs in the Best album and I was in trouble with deciding which ones. Now that I’m relistening to them, I also think I got used to the way to use synths. And last but not least, the album art, it’s pretty much my favorite! When I saw it finished, I wanted to hug Ane.

Ranko no Ane (from Nekokenban Best): Chen, to space. Initially, I was planning to make just a looong swing in the summit. Then I thought “isn’t that slightly plain?”, so I extended it to the sky, and then the stratosphere. I also infinitely increased the number. It’s quite dope, right? I think it also fits the sound. The splendid park inside the jacket is my favorite. It’s cute. By the way, this CD is pairing-themed.
