The 2nd album of the Nekokenban series. It follows the same direction of the previous one, with more piano-only arrangements and piano versions of BUTAOTOME’s vocal songs.
Paprika (from Nekokenban Best): Why is it that the jacket strikes me with fear? During the photographing, the bottom of the shoe fell out. A bad omen. As I listen to it again, I must admit it’s really an orthodox piano solo. Not to brag, but its strong point is that it doesn’t show off. Now I don’t play “Kirakira kagayaku umi ga mitai” anymore, but somehow playing it again felt new.
Ranko no Ane (from Nekokenban Best): Second album. There are two cats, too. The theme is something like a little one day trip. Chen takes Orin to the world above ground. Orin appeared only in this album. There are also various songs from Subterranean Animism. I had a quite sorrowful image in mind, but how did I convey it to the listeners…? I refined the pictures with toy camera filters, giving them a lyrical impression.
