Hiiii! How are you doing? I’ve been playing Pokémon Legends: Z-A, getting absorbed by CHUNITHM lore as well as the researches for my stories, and of course thinking about Goro Akechi and ShuAke everyday… A few days ago, both my Twitter accounts have been suspended (as part of a gigantic banwave that affected people who use OldTweetDeck), but now they are back.

I’ve been updating the list of songs and other pages. I’m planning to add lyrics and translations for the four Sekkenya songs that got Buta covers, but it’s not a huge priority right now. I want to do them before next Comiket, although I will probably do the two new Nanase Aikawa songs first when I get their lyrics. Anyway, besides the release of the ButaSekken collab (and the related tour), what happened recently in the World of BUTAOTOME?

• Buta has a space at Comiket 107, happening at the end of the year as usual! They are planning to release something.
• Nanase Aikawa has released a new EP, FIREWORKS. Besides the already released Victory Anthem and Wasshoi!, it includes two new Comp tracks: Nandodemo ~Rebirth~ (何度でも～Rebirth～, according to Youtube credits he only did the arrangement for this one) and sweet revenge.
• A couple of oldies are playable on some Taito’s games! Machibito wa Kozu. is on MUSIC DIVER (arcade game), while Kyouen is playable on QQQbeats!!!! (Nintendo Switch game, it’s basically Touhou Spell Bubble but you can also play non-Touhou songs).
• Ranko will have another Shiotan Goninmae live on the 15th, and you can buy streaming tickets here! Shiotan Goninmae is a supergroup with Ranko as vocalist, Shiro Tokage from Tetsuwan Tokage Tanchiki and Moriya as guitarists, tikage as bassist, and Davis from itsukabezaka as drummer. They had a live two years ago, where they played various songs.
• There have been a couple of new books with guest Ane arts! The first is Eirin Hokenshitsu no Rakugakichou (えーりん保健室のらくがきちょう) by circle Ryuumyaku Suikei (?), based on some recent Cool&Create PV (sorry not sorry, I’m not up to date with that stuff). The second is Etsuran wa Jikohandan ni te Onegai Moushiagemasu. (閲覧ハ自己判断ニテ御願イ申シ上ゲマス。) by circle Hebiichigo, it’s an underground subculture-themed Touhou anthology, and here is a preview of Ane’s art. You can buy the Eirin book on BOOTH, while the other one was available on the same website, but it’s currently soldout.
• Speaking of Ane art… my friend commissioned her to make an art of Vivi from Final Fantasy IX! It’s on her Skeb and her Pixiv.
