Butaotome finally doing an anime opening!!! Well, not in the way you are probably expecting.
The anime Neko Neko Nihonshi (an anime about Japanese historical figures as cats) will get a new opening theme on November 7. This opening is named “Guruguru Ponpon Daisakusen” (ぐるぐるポンポン大作戦), it’s written and composed by our polar bear Comp, but it’s sung by elfin’ (エルフィン), a Japanese female unit currently under the EXIT TUNES label. For those who don’t know who are these elfin’ girls, here is the first song I found by them, as example.
It’s probably the “slighty different from usual” thing Comp was recently busy with. He said it’s a cute song and he can’t wait for us to listen to!
