In her monthly Bibibi column, Ranko talks about her favorite ice cream flavor, chocolate mint!
Hi there, Daily Bibibi readers. I’m Ranko, the vocalist of BUTAOTOME.
In this series of articles, I’m going to introduce you to things that I like, as I like them.
This time, I would like to talk about “chocolate mint”. I think the reason why I fell in love with chocolate mint was because of an ice cream parlor that used to come near my house when I was a kid. I liked emerald green at that time, and one day, I ordered a chocolate mint ice cream on the spur of the moment, and I was so impressed with how delicious it was.
Then, there was a Seventeen Ice vending machine at the swimming school I went to, and I tried the chocolate mint one, which was also delicious… I was so happy with that reward and I loved swimming. By the way, I was a giant swimming noob until I was in fourth grade.
That’s why I always order chocolate mint when I go to an ice cream parlor, and I’m so glad that there are so many chocolate mint-flavored snacks available these days. because I can eat more sweets than ice cream. Boom, the best! But many of them are only available for a limited time! Please make them available all year round! I’m not eating chocolate mint to feel refreshed!
So I’m going to post some of the best chocolate mint-flavored ice creams and snacks I’ve ever had!
At the time, I had very high expectations for this chocolate mint from the famous Haagen-Dazs, but it was even better.
I think there are two types of chocolate mint lovers, those who prefer the mint and those who prefer the chocolate, and I really recommend this one because it has the best of both worlds. The ice cream is already delicious. But that’s not surprising.
By the way, the “White Mint & Chocolate” one is white in color but more minty, and I love that one too. They’re going to release it this year. I’m happy.
That Gari-gari kun!? Doing chocolate mint!? I was afraid to try it at first, but it’s so~~~ delicious. They’ve been selling it for years, and you can find it at any convenience store, so I just buy it whenever I see it.
Oreos come in many flavors, and they finally came out with chocolate mint. I’m so glad. Look at the color of the mint cream, isn’t it so beautiful?
I like chocolate mint because it has a beautiful color and many of the packages are refreshing and cute. Sometimes cider and cream soda also use this color and I mistake them.
I bought these at Family Mart. Both were delicious, but especially the cookies were already… exquisite… and so delicious… that they seriously “melted” in my mouth. I wish they would sell them again this year~~~ they are really delicious… I can’t help but be addicted to them. They are really good, so if you find them, please eat them.
Chocolate mint KitKat, it’s fu~~~cking delicious, you should all be eating it! Please do. I buy and eat these every time I see them. They also sell a big bag of it, so when I go to Don Quijote or something, I buy it… It’s not good. It’s not that they are not good, it’s just that they are so delicious, so I’m happy.
Also, these throat lozenges. They actually taste like chocolate mint and are really tasty, but did you know that too much xylitol in them can cause stomach problems? I didn’t know that, I once ate a whole bag of them in one day and couldn’t get out of the bathroom.
