Touhou Danmaku Kagura (東方ダンマクカグラ) was a mobile rhythm game with gacha elements, based on Touhou Project and developed and published by Unknown X. It was released on August 4th, 2021 and it was not available outside of Japan. It was shut down on October 28, 2022. It featured songs by several Touhou circles, and each song came with an illustration exclusively made for it. The game was free to play (real money was spent on getting more gacha currency and other bonuses) and no song was behind a paywall.
A rework named “Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost” was released on Steam on February 8th, 2024. It’s no longer free to play, it removes the microtransaction parts and has additional DLC packs.
